Visitation & Memorial Service:
It is with deep sadness and much love that the family of Robert George Jaros, age 75, announces his peaceful passing at his home in St. Cloud, MN on May 17th, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00pm at Bethel Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held immediately following the Memorial Service at the Dalton Community Center, Dalton, Minnesota. Burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, June 8, at 1:00pm.
Robert was born on March 30, 1951, in Minneapolis, MN. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1975, completing his service with the rank of Buck Sergeant. Following his military service, he pursued his passion for art and graphic design as a freelance artist while also dedicating himself to helping others through his work at the Fergus Falls Regional Treatment Center.
Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, adventurous spirit, kindness toward everyone he met, and the unconditional love he gave to his wife, children, grandchildren, and community. He had a gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
He found joy in traveling and exploring, creating art and graphic design, fishing, hunting, shooting sports, cooking, archery, rebuilding classic cars, and attending car shows. More than the hobbies themselves, what mattered most to Robert was the time spent with the people he loved. Whether outdoors, in the garage, around the table, or on the road, he treasured sharing his passions with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends, creating lasting memories through simple moments of togetherness.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Agnes and George Jaros, and granddaughter, Brianna.
Robert is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Linda Jaros. His siblings; Jan, Jim, Paul, Terry, David, and Valery. His children; Jeana, Anna, Nici, Eric, Marlena, Sabrina, Shawn, Mara and Gary. As well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends.
