My heart broke when I heard the news of Jeff’s passing. Wolters Kluwer truly lost a legend.
Jeff had an incredible gift for bringing humor into any situation. No matter what was going on, he could make people laugh and somehow make the challenge in front of them feel a little less intimidating.
It was impossible not to see the love you and Jeff shared every time you were together. The connection between you was obvious. If ever there were true soulmates, it was the two of you.
I’ll always remember how kind he was when he helped me prepare for a presentation I was nervous about. He joked that I was going to cause a national shortage of index cards, and it made me laugh exactly when I needed it most. He had a way of putting people at ease, helping them find perspective, and reminding them not to take things too seriously.
I feel fortunate to have known him and to have experienced his kindness, humor, and generosity. He will be deeply missed, but the memories and laughter he gave so many of us will stay with us forever.
