     Wilfred Louis Cichy, age 76, St. Cloud, MN died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Love of Christ Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Paul Hennings will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, March 26, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Love of Christ Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Private burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud MN.
     Will was born February 22, 1936 in Leaf Mountain Township, Ottertail County, Minnesota to Anton and Helen (Joos) Cichy. He married Marlene Gay on January 2, 1971 in Watertown, SD. Will was an active member of Love of Christ Lutheran Church. He was a life member of Valhalla Marine Corps League Detachment 171.
     Will was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandpa and great grandpa. His laughter and stories will be missed by all who knew him. Will loved volunteering at his church, especially with building projects, and helping family and friends. He also had a great love for his bulldogs.
     Survived by wife, Marlene Cichy of St. Cloud, MN: daughters, Carleen (Greg) Howell of Minneapolis, MN; Lenita (Brian) Hanson of Eagan, MN; stepdaughters, Darlene Diehl of Duluth, MN; Debra (Jeff Ahlm) Woitas of St. Croix Falls, WI; nine granddaughters, four grandsons; five great grandchildren; and sister, Rita Van Amber of Menomonie, WI.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
     Memorials are preferred to Love of Christ Lutheran Church Youth Fund or Building Fund.
