Evelyn C. Hall, age 94, Sauk Rapids, MN, died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Mission Cemetery, Merrifield, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Evelyn C. Hall was born July 7, 1910 in Mission, MN to Albert and Myrtle (Palmer) Sabin. She was a 1926 graduate of Brainerd High School and received a teaching certificate from St. Cloud Normal School in 1927. Evelyn taught at Center Township and Mission Township schools from 1927 to 1932. She married Thomas Royal Hall on September 1, 1932 in Brainerd, MN. Evelyn was a member of the Brainerd Public Library Board, Brainerd Garden Club, Crow Wing County Fair Board, a former 6th District Minnesota Horticultural Society President and a former member of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Jacquilyn “Jackie” (Jim) O’Reilly of Surprise, AZ and Sharyl (Tom) Neutz of Sauk Rapids, MN; six grandchildren, Kristie (Kevin) Cencer of Becker, MN; Dawn (Todd) Drayna of Becker, MN; Craig (Jody) O’Reilly of Pine River, MN; Tim (Linda) Neutz of Royalton, MN; Brad (Shelly) Neutz of Maple Lake, MN; Greg (Nicolette) Neutz of Montevideo, MN and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, on January 4, 1988, sisters, Ila Holcombe and Clover Hague and brother, Gilbert Sabin. |
