     Louise Mary Euteneuer, age 87, Grand Rapids, MN, formerly of St. Cloud, MN died Monday, December 19, 2011 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living, Grand Rapids, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Fr. Tom Knoblach will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Louise was born April 25, 1924 in Krain Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Louis H. and Anna C. (Wolbeck) Douvier. She married Raymond C. Euteneuer on July 7, 1958 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford, MN. Louise was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Christian Women and Catholic Aid. She was a resident of St. Cloud for 45 years before moving to Country Manor Apartments in December of 2006. In February 2008 Louise moved to St. Benedict’s Center and then to Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Grand Rapids, MN in October 2008. She enjoyed embroidering, gardening, flowers, going for walks, and playing cards (especially 500 Rummy). Louise loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. At Diamond Willow Louise enjoyed having coffee and cookies and visiting with people.
     Survivors include sons and daughter, Virgil (Lori) Euteneuer of Sauk Rapids,MN; Ronald Euteneuer of St. Michael, MN; Patty (Scott) Stoltenberg of Grand Rapids, MN; sisters, Rose Kapsner of Holdingford, MN; Eleanor (Danny) Pilarski of Battle Lake, MN; and eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Mathew, Morgan, Heather, Amber, Jared, Sydney and Nikki.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond on September 2, 2008, five brothers, Frank, Edmund, Clemens, Herbert and Roman Douvier, and two sisters, Frances Lange and Hildegard Waldorf.
     The family would like to thank the staff of Diamond Willow Assisted Living for the loving care and compassion that they provided Louise.
     Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
