Geraldine “Gerry” Jean Palisch, age 86, Sauk Rapids, MN, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel, Sauk Rapids, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel. Entombment will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Gerry was born January 19, 1925 in Mankato, MN to Louis and Leona (Krueger) Rabe. She was baptized on February 11, 1925 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato, MN and was confirmed at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, MN on May 28, 1939. On January 13, 1952 Gerry was united in marriage to Donald Earl Palisch at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Cloud, MN. Gerry worked for Social Security in the Stearns County Department of Health and Human Services for 31 years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Palisch of Sauk Rapids, MN; nieces, Ann M. (Robert) Howe of Bothell, WA; and Sheryl L. (V. James) Bushey of Lauderhill, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Illah “Suzie” J. Warren. |
