Dean L. Willhite, age 52, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Dean was born October 17, 1958 in Springfield, MN to George and Gretchen (Christopherson) Willhite. He graduated from Westbrook High School in 1977 and from Pipestone Tech College with an accounting degree. Dean married Rebekah Hall on July 26, 1980 in Lake Benton, MN. They later divorced. He owned and operated four successful small businesses: AAA Lawn Irrigation, AAA Signarama, AAA Limousine, and Dean’s Auto Repair. Dean was a friend to anyone who knew him. He was a very forgiving and kind hearted person. He was the best man in the whole world and the greatest grandpa.
Survivors include his children, Angela Hoeschen of St. Cloud, MN; Michael Willhite of St. Cloud, MN; Rachael Willhite of St. Cloud, MN; nine grandchildren, Destanie Willhite, Austin Lepscier, Dakota Hoeschen, Kylee Hoeschen, Deondre Willhite, Kyeondre Willhite, Devontae Willhite, Treveon Willhite, Jamaria Holliday; brothers and sisters, James Willhite of Little Falls, MN; Stanley Willhite; Garth Willhite of Sandstone, MN; Roger Willhite of Cambridge, MN; Clay Willhite of Colorado Springs, CO; Diane Trombley of Oak Grove, MN; Joyce Jensen of Braham, MN; Janice Madoll of Oregon; Carol Schweitzer of Isanti, MN; Patricia Oliverius of Blaine, MN; Tamie Willhite of St. Cloud, MN; Sherri Hex of Falcon Heights, MN; Suzanne Willhite of South Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Tyler Willhite-Hamlin, and three brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Michael Willhite, Austin Lepscier, Garth Willhite, Clay Willhite, Roger Willhite, and James Willhite.
Memorials are preferred.
