     Mildred Augusta Bertha Ostermeier Fuller, age 97, St. Cloud, MN, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Atonement Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, February 14, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in Old Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone, MN.
     Mildred was born October 17, 1913 in Pipestone, MN to William and Augusta (Goeshke) Ostermeier. She graduated from Pipestone High School and attended South Dakota State College in Brookings, SD. In Brookings Mildred was secretary for six years in the editorial office of South Dakota State. Mildred married Raymond Sylvester Fuller in Chicago in 1930. They subsequently moved to Rochester, MN and Terre Haute, IN. In Terre Haute she was a member and officer of Tri Kappa Sorority and participated in musicals. Raymond and Mildred then moved to San Bernardino, CA where they managed laundromats. She was active in Our Saviors Lutheran Church there. Mildred and Ray also spent summers in Alexandria, MN after he retired. Just prior to Raymond’s death the couple moved to Rancho Bernardo, CA and later Mildred moved to St. Cloud, MN. Mildred loved to play cards, and she belonged to several bridge clubs in every community she lived. After her 90th birthday celebration at the Sheraton Hotel in Rancho Bernard, CA, Mildred rode an elephant. She has lived for the past five years at St. Benedict Court in St. Cloud.
     Survivors include three sons, James (Marsha VandeBerg) Fuller of San Francisco, CA; Stephen (Ozzie Mayers) Fuller of St. Cloud, MN; and Wayne (Alice LaPorte-Fuller) Fuller of Concord, NH; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond, six brothers, Ernest, Fred, William, George, Art and Henry, and three sisters, Laura, Marie and Rosina.
     Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
     Memorials are preferred to Atonement Lutheran Church.
