     Frank W. Scheneker, age 70, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, January 28, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. There will be a VFW prayer service at 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
     Frank was born April 16, 1940 in Akeley, MN to Frank & Selma (Ohnsted) Scheneker. He married Rebecca A. Johnson on May 26, 1962 in Holmes City, MN. Frank served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1965. He was employed as a switchman for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 40 years retiring in 2002. Frank was a member of the VFW Post 428, St. Cloud and Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN.
     Survivors include son and daughters, David Scheneker of St. Cloud, MN; Lori Scheneker of Blackduck, MN; Annette (Brian) Kerr of Prior Lake, MN; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Humphrey of Mora, MN; Maxine Beck of Blackduck, MN; Marlene Bogart of Blackduck, MN.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rebecca on December 7, 2001, one sister, Joyce Scheneker.
     Honorary pallbearers will be, Phillip Scheneker, Marshall Nystrom, Brian Kerr, Tyler Kerr, and Don Leiran.
