     Ralph W. Fleming, age 86, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, August 21, 2004 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Monday August 23, 2004 at 3:30 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Brian Gobar will officiate.
     Survivors include his wife, Roberta, of St. Cloud, MN; sons and daughter, Michael (Connie) Fleming of Elk River, MN; Hayden (LaDonna) Fleming of Scottsdale, AZ; Patrick (Paula) Fleming of Clear Lake, MN; Sharon (Robert) Kennedy of Detroit, MI; sister, Joyce Stoll of Cokato, MN; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
     Ralph W. Fleming was born May 3, 1918 in Albrights, MN to Hayden and Hattie (Hess) Fleming. He married Roberta Krueger on May 30, 1941 in Sioux Falls, SD. Ralph was a feed mill miller until 1957 when he changed careers and became on the road salesman for Gilmer Monuments and then an agent for Surge Milk Products. In 1970 Ralph went to work for Holt Motors of Cokato, MN as a salesman, retiring in 1980. For the next 20 years, Ralph and Roberta spent their retirement in Surprise, AZ. Ralph was a member of Joy Christian Center. Ralph’s life of working was primarily to support his family. He did not have a long list of “accomplishments” according to the standards of worldly success. Rather, his greater success was the example of Christian living that he gave to his family and friends.
     In every area of his life Ralph reflected God’s grace to those he met. He opened his home and heart to all. He fervently prayed for his family, loved ones and other people God brought into his life. Ralph left the world a better place than he found it. His legacy will live on.
