Margie G. Krick, age 84, St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Sauk Rapids, MN, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at St. Benedict’s Gorecki Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Minden Township, MN. Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Minden Township, MN.
Margie was born May 29, 1926 in St. Cloud, MN to William and Mary (Saatzer) Weiman. She married Donald I. Krick on October 9, 1948 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. The couple lived in St. Cloud until 1964 when they moved to rural Sauk Rapids. Margie worked for Stearns Manufacturing in Sauk Rapids for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Minden Township, MN.
Margie loved to shop, read, solve crossword and mind puzzles and word searches, paint/color, draw, and cut the grass with her riding mower.
Survivors include her children, Donna (Dale) Nemeth, Karen Krick, Brian Krick, Gary (Janel) Krick, sisters and brothers, Sylvester “Buster” (Doris) Weiman, Grace (Roman) Lehmeier, Theresa “Sis” Zirbes, Ronnie (Sharon) Weiman, and Netty Dopp, eight grandchildren, Kyle Nemeth, Jill (Peter) Oja, Darren Nemeth, Ryan (Sarah) Gruber, Joey Gruber, Eric (Jan) Henneman, Kaelan Krick and Collin Krick, and two great granddaughters and three great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald on November 9, 1989, and sisters and brothers, Marie Gasser, Delores Mohs, Verna Glasser, Frank and Donald Weiman.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Benedict’s Senior Community and St. Cloud Hospital Hospice for the care, compassion and support they provided for their mother.
