John “Bob” Robert Quirk, age 80, Breezy Point, MN, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
There will be no funeral services. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
John was born November 3, 1929 in Lawler, IA to William J. and Marie (Canty) Quirk. He married Joan Reilly on May 23, 1985 in Minneapolis, MN. John served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was self employed as a manufacturing representative in the music industry. John was a member of the American Legion Post of Lawler, IA for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Quirk of Breezy Point, MN; step son, Chris Gabriel of Minneapolis, MN; brothers, Lowell (Barb Erbe) Quirk of Rochester, MN; Thomas (Louise) Quirk of Fort Wayne, IN; Frank (Dorothy) Quirk of Villages, FL; sister-in-law, Mona Quirk of Prior Lake, MN; and two grandchildren, Alexandra and Kody Gabriel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bill Quirk and an infant sister.
