Evelyn “Lynn” Lindblad, 62 of Cambridge, Minnesota passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on September 25th, 2010 surrounded by family and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2010 from 2 PM to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Liberty, Nebraska.
Lynn was born March 7th, 1948 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Robert “Bob” and Katherine “Kate” (Palmer) Kussman. Lynn graduated from Pawnee City High School and later served in the United States Army. She married Teddy “Ted” Lindblad on March 3rd, 1979. Lynn enjoyed fishing, crocheting, crafts, sketching, watching football, gardening, being outdoors, playing cards and especially spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Ted Lindblad of Cambridge, MN; son and daughters, Theresa Peters and her son Dylan of Topeka, KS; Trevor Lindblad, fiancé Ashley Lideen and his daughter Kiley of Cambridge, MN; Tamme Lindblad and special friend Jonathan Seelen of St. Cloud, MN; brother and sister, Karen Kussman of Pawnee City, NE; Jerry Kussman and wife Kathy of Omaha, NE; mother-in-law Wilma Lindblad of Beatrice, NE; brother-in-law Les Lindblad and wife Jan of Lincoln, NE; sister-in-law Linda Jurgens and husband Roger of Beatrice, NE; nieces and nephews, Mandi Schafer of Pawnee City, NE and special friend Leighton Schafer of DuBois, NE; Lindee Vincent and husband Joe of Miami, FL; Jason Kussman and special friend Alye Brown of Omaha, NE; Jud Kussman and fiancé Amy McGargill of Omaha, NE; Ralph Dorn and wife Shelley of Minneapolis, MN; and many other family and friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Kate Kussman; grandparents Edgar and Della Mae Palmer; grandparents Louis and Louie Kussman and father-in-law Raymond Lindblad.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
