     Marian Rose Godbey, age 84, St. Cloud, MN, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Carefree Living, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, July 12, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Christian Women will pray at 5:30 PM and Parish prayers will be at 6:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
     Marian was born June 18, 1926 in Holdingford, MN to Duane and Rose (George) Hemme. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School. In August 1962 she was united in marriage to William F. Godbey. Marian ran an adult foster care for 25 years. She volunteered for Catholic Charities. Marian was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and Legion of Mary. She enjoyed baking, playing cribbage, and garage sales.
     Survivors include sons, David A. (Ramona) Daniel of St. Joseph, MN; William F. (Robyn) Godbey of Faribault, MN; John Daniel of Sauk Rapids, MN; William T. (Kathy) Daniel of St. Cloud, MN; and Robert J. Daniel; one step brother, two step sisters; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William on September 22, 1966; two grandchildren; two step brothers and one step sister.
