Jane Shephard Windingland, age 59, St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Crystal, ND, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be (TODAY) Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Crystal Cemetery, Crystal, ND. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church in Park River, ND.
Jane was born February 16, 1951 in Grafton, ND to Harold and Lucille (Moulton) Shephard. On July 3, 1971, she was united in marriage to Allan L. Windingland at Bethel Baptist Church in Park River, ND. Jane graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Fargo, ND in 1971. They lived in West Fargo, ND and Gackle, ND prior to moving to Crystal, ND in December 1975. Jane was employed by the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND from 1978 to 1995. She was then employed in Home Care and became the Home Care Director in 1998 until they moved to St. Cloud in 2001. Jane worked at the St. Cloud Hospital for Dr. Hani Al Khatib. She was a member of Calvary Community Church. Jane enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World. She also enjoyed riding in the family boat and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Allan Windingland of St. Cloud, MN; daughter, Michelle (Jon) Hedlund of Blaine, MN; sons, Steven (Krista) Windingland of Chanhassen, MN; and Brian (Leeora) Windingland of Fridley, MN; sister, Norene Shephard of Shoreview, MN; and six grandchildren, Hannah and Joshua Hedlund, Wesley and Micah Windingland, and Brittany and Kierstin Windingland.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
