     Vincent Alva Stephens, age 87, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at his home.
     Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. An Eastern Star prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM and a Masonic prayer service will at 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Acacia Cemetery, Clearwater, MN.
     Vincent was born April 22, 1922 in Tulare, SD to William and Mabel (Turner) Stephens. On June 19, 1943 he was united in marriage to Evelyn C. Schultz in St. Cloud, MN. Vincent was employed as a manual arts therapist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Cloud for 31 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Deacons; Disabled American Veterans; North Star Lodge #23 AF & AM; Order of Eastern Star Granite Chapter #5 and Past Worthy Patron; White Shrine and Watchman of the Shepherd. Vincent was also a former member of St. Cloud Eagles Aerie #622 and volunteered at the Salvation Army for many years.
     Survivors include daughters, Nancy Maas of Monticello, MN; and Carol (Kevin) Flanigan of Minnetonka, MN; three grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Maas, Molly (Christian) Drossel and Kelly Flanigan; and four great grandchildren, Dylan, Gage and Veda Maas, and Gavin Drossel.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, on January 25, 2005; parents; brother, Chester Stephens and sister, Lilian Stephens.
     Pallbearers will be Dylan Maas, Gage Maas, Veda Maas, Christopher Maas, Christian Drossel, Kelly Flanigan, and Kevin Flanigan.
