Donna A. Raab, age 82, Sartell, MN died Friday, April 2, 2010, at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 12:30 PM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Fr. Alfred Stangl will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Daughters of Isabella prayer service will be at 4:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Donna was born September 2, 1927 in St. Cloud, MN to Lawrence and Louise (Battis) Borgert. She married James F. Kilian on October 19, 1946 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud, MN. He died December 30, 1960. On May 1, 1970, Donna was united in marriage to Stephen L. Raab in St. Cloud, MN. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and served as a Regent of Daughters of Isabella. Donna was also a member of Sweet Adelines for 10 years.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Raab of Sartell, MN; sons and daughters, Ronald J. Kilian of Eagle River, AK; Patrick J. Kilian of St. Cloud, MN; Rebecca L. (Randy) Kilian-Smith of San Antonio, TX; Michael G. (Susan) Kilian of St. Cloud, MN; Stephanie Raab of Apple Valley, MN; Mary (John) Wohnoutka of Plymouth, MN; Bernadette (Dean) Grant of St. Michael, MN: Jeanette Raab-Kroll of Rice, MN; brothers and sisters, Eugene (Marilyn) Borgert of Sartell, MN; Loren Borgert of St. Cloud, MN: Kathy (Richard) Thometz of Sartell, MN; Renee Stang of Sartell, MN; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Kilian; sister, Mary Salandi; two brothers, Ken and Dick Borgert; and son-in-law, Jeff Kroll.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Joseph Wohnoutka, Jeffrey Grant, Aaron Kilian-Smith, Adam Wohnoutka, Kyle Wohnoutka, Elora Kilian and Jordan Kilian.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Country Manor Chapel Expansion Fund.
The family would like to thank the staff at Country Manor Health Care Center for the loving care and support they provided.
