     Maurice Wasserman, age 82, St. Cloud, MN, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his home.
     Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Pastor Russell Rankin will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
     Maurice was born January 13, 1927 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Arthur and Esther (Bratman) Wasserman. He served in the United States Army during World War II. On March 27, 1965, Maurice married Patricia Ann Klein in Canton, SD. He was employed as a product development engineer in the apparel industry. Maurice enjoyed playing and listening to music, fishing, attending sporting events and watching sports on television, especially baseball and basketball.
     Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wasserman of St. Cloud, MN; sons and daughters, Timothy (Dawn) Wasserman of St. Cloud, MN; Stan (Lori) Peglow of Richmond, MN; Sandra Grossman of Seattle, WA; Melody Wasserman of Minneapolis, MN; Kathrine (Michael) Janku of St. Cloud, MN; Valentina Herbert of St. Cloud, MN; Angela (Michael) Lieser of St. Joseph, MN; sisters, Bernice Fiterman of Edina, MN; Sue Berlowe of Tucson, AZ; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
     Memorials are preferred.
     Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
