Randy Brix died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to complications of cardiac arrest.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Randy was born June 28, 1960 in St. Cloud, MN to Ron and Evie (Smith) Brix. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1978 and Metropolitan State University in 1985. On October 9, 1982 Randy was united in marriage to Linda R. Arndts in St. Cloud, MN. He has been employed by Hennepin County as a computer programmer/project manager since 1980. Randy was a member of Calvary Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Brix of St. Cloud, MN; sons and daughter, David (Anna) Brix of Milaca, MN; Paul and Rachel Brix, both at home; mother, Evie Brix of St. Cloud, MN; brothers, Gary (Lori) Brix of St. Cloud, MN; Dean (Bonnie) Brix of Marshfield, WI; Rusty (Kathy) Brix of Mankato, MN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Betty Arndts of St. Cloud, MN; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Richard) Hobbs of St. Cloud, MN; Beth (Steve) Prater of Andover, MN; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father on December 1, 1998.
Pallbearers will be Gary, Dean and Rusty Brix, Steve McCaffrey, Greg Mayer and Karl Anderson.
Memorials are preferred.
Randy was a devoted husband and father. He loved and is loved deeply by his family and friends. Randy lived his life as a testimony of his deep love for Christ, his Savior. His memory will be cherished until we meet again. |
