     Ila Mae Johnstone, age 86, Sartell, MN died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Country Manor Health Care Center Chapel, Sartell, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Country Manor Chapel in Sartell, MN. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Ila Mae was born December 25, 1922 in Algona, Iowa to William and Laura Jane (Saxton) Clark. On May 13, 1950 she was united in marriage to Earl F. Johnstone at the First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Ila was a Gold Star Mother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud MN. Ila enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, playing bingo, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
     Survivors include sons and daughters, Fritz (Sharon) Johnstone of Sterling, CO; Robert (Jill) Johnstone of Sauk Rapids, MN; Thomas (Dianne) Johnstone of St. Cloud, MN; John (Lori) Johnstone of Rice, MN; Joanne (Kevin) Harguth of St. Cloud, MN; Elizabeth (Jay Orth) Johnstone of St. Cloud, MN; brothers, Charles Clark of Watkinsville, GA; William Clark of San Antonio, TX; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl, on February 13, 1993; two sons, William and Jack; one daughter, Jacqueline; two sisters; and one brother.
