     Kathryn C. Neeb, age 56, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at her home after a short courageous battle with cancer.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Church of St. Peter’s, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Kathy C. Neeb was born December 26, 1952 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Gregory and Lila (Emslander) Neeb. She graduated from Cathedral High School; St. Cloud State University and St. Mary’s School of Nursing as an RN. Kathy worked at Minneapolis Technical College teaching LPN nursing courses, Encore, Heath Partners and Good Shepherd Senior Community. She also authored a nursing textbook. Kathy was a former member of the St. Mary’s Cathedral Choir, and a member of SAI Music Sorority, Stearns County Skywarn, and Church of St. Peter’s.
    She loved gardening and birds, cooking, shopping and storm chasing.
     Kathy is survived by her brothers and sister, Dave Neeb of Sartell, MN; Paul Neeb of Sauk Rapids, MN; and Beth (Doug) Jungels of St. Cloud, MN; two nephews, Kevin and Nathan; and her Kitties, Zoomer and Buzz.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Lawrence and Pearl Emslander & Alfred and Cecelia Neeb.
     In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
     A special thank you to Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice and Cancer Treatment Center of America - Midwest for the care and encouragement they provided to Kathy and her family.
