Lulu E. McNally, age 87, St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, August 18, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Lulu was born October 2, 1920 in Winona County, MN to Clarence and Magdalene (Schmidt) Davis. She married Clyde “Jake” A. McNally on February 29, 1948 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Lulu taught school for 23 years in various towns in Minnesota. Her last 17 years were with the Becker school system. After her retirement, Lulu became involved in volunteer work. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include sons, Doug McNally of St. Joseph, MN; Larry McNally of St. Cloud, MN; and daughter-in-law, Kathy McNally of LaHabra Heights, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde, on October 1, 2007, and son Russ, in 2006.
Pallbearers will be Adam Watrin, Lance Watrin, Patrick Watrin, Jeff Koltes, Brian Niedermeier, and Mike Vanderweyst.
Memorials are preferred to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or WACOSA.
