Thomas F. Hooper, age 69, Waite Park, Mn died Friday, July 25, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Hal Spann will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Fuenral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Thomas was born November 7, 1938 in North Redwood, MN to Thomas F. and Viola M (Simondet) Hooper. He married Rosa Kirchner on August 25, 1959 in Waite Park, MN. Thomas was employed as a Granite Technician for Cold Spring Granite for 43 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Breakfast Club at Brigitte’s Cafe.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Hooper of Waite Park, MN; sons, Scott (Denise) Hooper of St. Cloud, MN; Jim (Mary) Hooper of Jordan, MN; daughters, Heidi Emslander of St. Stephen, MN; Mandy (Steve) Wendt of Kimball, MN; brothers, William (Elaine) Hooper of Crosslake, MN; Robert (Kathleen) Hooper of Wayzata, MN; John (Becky) Hooper of Cold Spring, MN; George (Jan) Hooper of Brainerd, MN; sister-in-law, Pat Hooper of St. Cloud, MN; and grandchildren, Sam, Chelsea, Chad, Mitchell, Ellie, Hannah and Jake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Charles Hooper.
