     Viola R. Moore, age 86, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Viola R. Moore was born January 20, 1922 in St. Cloud, MN to Joseph and Bertha (Orth) Lauer. Viola attended St. Anthony's Catholic School.
     Viola supported her country and those who serve through her active involvement in the USO during W.W.II. She loved to entertain and very much enjoyed having company. She also enjoyed and was an accomplished dancer, winning numerous contests. Viola was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN.
     Survivors include her son, Jerome and wife Janet Groover of St. Cloud, MN; son-in-law, Bill Blonigan of Avon, MN; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Clarence Lauer of Jacksonville, FL; and sisters Genevieve Doolittle of Ellsworth, WI, and Lorraine Soldo of Hopkins, MN.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Felton Spivey, Marshall Groover, and Chuck Moore; children, Carolyn, Barbara, and Greg; grandson, Steve; sister, Josephine; and brothers Arthur, Willard, Valentine, and one brother in infancy.
