     Jacqueline “Jackie” C. Weisenberger, age 61, St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Halliday, ND, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
     Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Love of Christ Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Halliday, ND at a later date.
     Jackie was born September 23, 1946 in Granite Falls, MN to Gordon and Amy (Gustafson) Williams. She married Gordon Weisenberger on September 18, 1965 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Halliday, ND. They owned and operated the Amoco Station in Halliday, ND for many years. Jackie was also employed by the Union Bank. After Gordon’s death in 1988 she enrolled in nursing school at Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND and became an RN in 1996. In December of 1999, Jackie moved to St. Cloud where she was employed by the St. Cloud Hospital, Oncology Unit. She was loved and cherished by her patients and second family of doctors and nurses.
     Jackie was a member of Love of Christ Lutheran Church where she was involved in women’s groups and Bible study. She had a very strong faith life and passed it on to all of those around her. Jackie was an avid reader and also loved gardening, especially vegetables and canning. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and also passing on her German heritage especially German foods.
     Survivors include children, Robin (Rick) Sarner of Sauk Rapids, MN; Scott (Connie) Weisenberger of White Oak, TX; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Tyler, Jaden and Tyler; two step grandchildren, Kristen and Nicole; brothers and sister, John, Elaine and Stan; sister-in-law, Darline; brothers-in-law, Ken , Dave, Melvin and Ralph; many nieces and nephews, and her entire beloved family.
     She was preceded in death by her parents,and husband, Gordon.
     The family would like to thank the St. Cloud Hospital 5 South Oncology Unit doctors and nurses.
