     Robert D. Kline, age 80, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Benson Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Wednesday. Arrangements with Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Robert Kline was born on August 17, 1927 in Barnesville, MN to John and Clara (Dean) Kline. He served in the US Navy for a short time during WWII. Robert was united in marriage to Alice J. Bolme on May 2, 1952, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo, ND. Robert worked in Insurance and Financial Planning for various companies retiring from his own business in 1997. Robert was and avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing and motor-home travel and spending winters in Texas. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Robert is a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN.
     Robert is survived by his wife, Alice of St. Cloud, MN; children, Kate Kline of New Brighton, MN, Jim Kline of St. Cloud, MN, John (Amy) Kline of Rice, MN, Larry (Sandy) Kline of Minneapolis, MN, Steven (Tara) Kline of St. Cloud, MN, Curt (Amy) Kline of St. Paul, MN; and Laura (Bob) Bauer of Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, Noah and Jesse Raden, Leah Kline, Michael and Kelsey Kline, Sara Kline, and Sophia and Jackson Bauer, and sister Marcia Sibbett of Owatonna, MN.
     He was preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
