     Anna Mae “Mitey” Supan Leadem, 64, St. Cloud, MN died peacefully Saturday, January 12, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 18, 2008 at 12:30 PM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Parish Prayers will be at 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in St. Stephen’s Parish Cemetery, St. Stephen, MN.
     Anna Mae was born June 20, 1943 in St. Stephen, MN to Steve and Frances (Schumer) Supan. She graduated from Holdingford High School in 1961. Mitey married Wally Leadem on July 31, 1971 in St. Cloud, MN. She worked in the Dietary Department at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN from 1961 to 1984. Mitey was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN and was a volunteer at St. Peter’s. She made baby quilts for Birthline in St. Cloud.
     Mitey loved caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, embroidery, fishing, and traveling. Mitey loved decorating for every month of the year.
     Survivors include her husband, Wally Leadem of St. Cloud, MN; stepdaughters, Deb Leadem of St. Cloud, MN; Mary (Cristian Ticiu) Leadem Ticiu of Mendota Heights, MN; stepdaughter-in-law, Kella (Paul) Bugbee of Paynesville, MN; brothers and sisters, Jerome (Dolores) Supan of St. Stephen, MN; Ed (Joan) Supan of St. Joseph, MN; Don (Karen) Supan of St. Stephen, MN; Doreen (Alvin) Jungles of St. Nicholas, MN; Lucy Supan of St. Cloud, MN; three grandchildren, Natalie Leadem, Benjamin Bugbee, Madeline Ticiu.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lawrence Supan in 1997 and stepson, Bill Leadem in 1990.
     Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews, Cheryl Lovitz, Jeff Supan, Brian Jungles, Dean Jungles, Craig Jungles, Aaron Jungles, Mary Jo Luethmers, Michelle Shanks, and Tammy Mahony.
     Cross Bearer will be Madeline Ticiu.
     Honorary Pallbearers will be Sharyn Szczech, Wanda Dockendorf, Evie Pflipsen, and Aurelia Schwanke.
     In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
     Mitey’s family would like to thank the staff of the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice Program for the excellent care she received during her brief illness.
