     Arthur W. Halverson, Jr., age 76 of St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at St. Cloud Hospital.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4310 County Road 137, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church on Saturday. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Arrangements are with Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
     Arthur was born March 15, 1931 in Minneapolis to Arthur W. and Marjorie (Peters) Halverson, Sr. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1949. Arthur worked in hardware and food sales and retired from the Schilling-McCormick spice company after more than 25 years. He married Lynn (Marczak) Rosten on December 4, 1993 in St. Cloud. Life interests included hunting, fishing, bargain hunting, collecting, word games and his children and grandchildren.
     Survivors include wife, Lynn of St. Cloud; children, John Halverson of Minneapolis; Paula Halverson of Coon Rapids; Julie Jackson of Elk River; first wife Hanna (Holzkamper) of St. Cloud; step children, Mark Rosten of St. Joseph; Dean Rosten of St. Cloud; Kimberly Bok of Colorado Springs, CO; Chris Rosten of St. Augusta; eight grandchildren, Madeline and Calvin Halverson, Rachel, Jessica, Jacob, and Emma Jackson, Briana, and Tyler Newstrom; and three step grandchildren, Brook Maier, Adam, and Andrew Bok.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
