     Arthur S. Achman, age 89, Cold Spring, formerly of Kimball, MN, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Assumption Home, Cold Spring, MN.
     Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Pearl Lake, MN (Marty). Rev. Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Visitation will be (TODAY) Wednesday, May 23, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the church in Pearl Lake (Marty) and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday at the church in Pearl Lake. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery, Pearl Lake, MN (Marty). Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Arthur Achman was born March 22, 1918 in Avon, MN to Joseph J. and Dorothy “Dora” (Meyer) Achman. He served in the United States Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945. Arthur worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #1062. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.
     Survivors include son and daughters, Jim Achman of Annandale, MN; Carla (Jim) Primus of St. Cloud, MN and their children, Lisa and Jacob Primus; Kathleen Achman of St. Cloud, MN; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Achman of Kimball, MN and her children Michael, Erik (Erica), Adam and Matthew Achman; brother and sisters, Ervin Achman of New Ulm, MN; Dorothy Zenzen of Elk River, MN; Jean Morgel of St. Paul Park, MN; and Harriet Spohn of Burnsville, MN.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Richard J. Achman on March 10, 2005, brothers, Harold and Lawrence Achman, and sister, Alice Achman.
     Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
