Arthur “Kenneth” K. Olson, age 84, St. Cloud, MN died Friday, May 18, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM.at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Dee Pederson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
Arthur Olson was born February 10, 1923 in Malta, IL to Arthur L and Sadie (Kenward) Olson. He married Brigitte Stamm on January 1, 1949 in Minnesota Lake, MN. They later divorced. Arthur farmed, was a welder for Granite Stone of St. Cloud, MN, and later was a janitor for the Elk River School District. He was a member of St. Cloud VFW Post #428.
Survivors include sons and daughter, David (Julie) K. Olson of Clearwater, MN; Michael (Deborah) D. Olson of Foley, MN; Juliann Bichler of St. Cloud, MN; brothers and sisters, Darrell Olson of Minnesota Lake, MN; Archie (Marlene) Olson of Austin, TX; Ardis Stevenson of Minneapolis, MN; Rhoda Mae (Walter) Campbell of Rochester, MN; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
