Emma V. Boese, age 84, Sauk Rapids, MN died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at St. Benedict's Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Atonement Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2004 from 4 to 8 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in Becker Cemetery, Becker, MN.
Emma Boese was born January 13, 1920 in Becker, MN to Fred and Emma (Hamacher) Haberman. She married Herman Boese on April 14, 1943 in Monticello, MN. They were divorced in 1972. He died April 9, 1996. Emma volunteered at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, St. Cloud and Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
Survivors include children: Marlene (Jerry) Buntjer of Sleepy Eye, MN; Lloyd (Donna) Boese of Sun City West, AZ; Glenn (Brenda) Boese of Philipsburg, MT; Louella (Richard) Litzinger of Bennet, NE; Karen (David) Hager of Sartell, MN; Richard Boese of Hastings, MN; Audrey (David) Schwarz of St. Cloud, MN; Delroy (Vicki) Boese of Anaconda, MT; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Eva Jones; Ray (Dorothy) Haberman; Marcella McCalla; Alice Hoffman; Flora (William) Gavin; Adolph Haberman; Lewis Haberman; Shirley (Darrell) Olson; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Dennis in 1960 and Gordon in 1975, one great-granddaughter Kayla in 1992, brothers: Ernest, Herman, Robin, and Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Delroy Boese, Jr., Cory Boese, Jenny Muehlberg, Teresa Pegler, Jason Lawson, Tammy Schwarz, Allan Boese and Veronica Harrison.
Memorials are preferred to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. |
