     Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Thomas will be Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral Upper Church, St. Cloud, MN. Friends may gather Monday, February 19, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Thomas was born August 12, 1924 to Anthony and Martha Hunstiger in St. Cloud, MN. He attended St. Mary’s Grade School, Cathedral High School and St. John’s University. Thomas worked his entire life at Hunstiger’s Market Inc.
     He is survived by his wife, Rose Hunstiger of St. Cloud; daughters and sons, Connie (Mark) McCarter and children Joey and Cassandra of Geyserville, CA; Thomas Hunstiger, Jr. of St. Cloud, MN; Kara (Thomas) Ryan and children Thomas and Katelyn of Riverside, MO; Martha (Paul) Ciarrochi and daughter Grace of St. Cloud, MN; Jacqueline (Robert Huebner) Hunstiger and daughter Ava Rose of St. Cloud, MN; Capt. Candace Hunstiger of Washington DC, currently serving in Iraq; Theodore Hunstiger of St. Cloud, MN; brothers and sister, Harriet Campbell of Williamsport, MD; Eugene (Toni) Hunstiger of Hopkins, MN; and Paul David Hunstiger of St. Cloud, MN.
     Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Marjorie Suggs and Alice Klatt and one daughter, Bonnie Hunstiger.
     Memorials are preferred to Poor Clares Monastery, Sauk Rapids, MN.
