     Delores L. Adams, age 69, Sartell, MN died Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 10:30 AM at First Assembly of God Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Craig Moore, Rev. Clarence St. John, and Rev. John Krans will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, January 1, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church, 2409 Clearwater Rd, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. A time of sharing will be held at 6:00 PM Monday at the church. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Delores Adams was born June 16, 1937 in Watertown, SD to Carroll and Arline (Gauger) Peterson. She married Herbert W. Adams on August 19, 1954 at First Assembly of God Church, Billings, MT. They moved to California after their marriage and moved back to St. Cloud in 1961. Delores has been a sign language interpreter and minister to the deaf since 1962. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
     Survivors include sons and daughters, Jon (Kathleen) Adams of Fort Ripley, MN; Ron Adams of Andover, MN; Kevin (Maggie Hoppe) Adams of Sartell, MN; Sherelyn (Dan) Chellin of Andover, MN; Lenea (Randy) Benintende of Anoka, MN; brothers and sister, Lonnie Peterson of Lorrel, MT; Kenneth Peterson of Two Harbors, MN; James Peterson of Billings, MT; Leslie Peterson of Minneapolis, MN; Verla Jones of Valentine, NE; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Herbert, on April 24, 2005.
