     Wendy Lynn Norrell, age 36, St. Cloud, MN, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital due to a chronic illness.
     Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Love of Christ Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. David Hormann will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Wendy Norrell was born September 5, 1970 in St. Cloud, MN to John W. and Alice B. “Penny” (Rasmussen) Norrell, Jr. She graduated from Apollo High School in 1990. Wendy was employed by the Chamber of Commerce, the Donlin Company, and most recently by the Radisson. She was a member of SonRise Lutheran Church in Avon, MN. Wendy was a loving and caring person who always thought of others before herself. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and her kitty, Rasha.
     Survivors include her parents, Penny Norrell of St. Cloud, MN and John (Carol) Norrell, Jr. of St. Cloud, MN; brother, David Haugen of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Holly Wiley of Richmond, MN; Dawn (Brian) Conklin of Sartell, MN; Heather (Darel) Conklin of St. Cloud, MN; step brothers, Brad Harden of St. Cloud, MN; Michael Marquart of St. Cloud, MN; step sisters, Crystal (Derek) Aichers of St. Cloud, MN; Carrie Haugen of St. Cloud, MN; five nieces and two nephews; one step niece; and one great niece.
     She was preceded in death by grandparents.
