Eleanor A. Wilson, age 88, Sauk Rapids, MN, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Good Shepherd Community, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Katie Schneider-Bryan will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Eleanor Wilson was born April 8, 1918 in Blooming Prairie, MN to Arthur and Ruth (Grass) Vaith. She married Woodrow J. Wilson on September 14, 1938 in Austin, MN. Eleanor was a longtime active member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughter, John (Anne) Wilson of Winchester, WI; Dennis (JoAnn) Wilson of St. Cloud, MN; Kathleen (Jon) Adams of Fort Ripley, MN; brother and sister, Ronald (Mary) Vaith of Owatonna, MN; Donna (Ernest) Yentch of Apache Junction, AZ; son-in-law, Carroll Graves of Fuquay Varina, NC; sister-in-law, Elaine Vaith of Blooming Prairie, MN; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Woodrow, on November 30, 1995, daughter, Marilyn Graves in 2000, and one brother, Allen Vaith.
Memorials are preferred to First United Methodist Church.
