Mildred “Millie” K. Hibbard, age 91 Sartell, MN died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Country Manor Health Care Center Chapel, Sartell, MN. Rev. Gary Skramstad will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday at the Country Manor Chapel. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Millie Hibbard was born December 2, 1915 in Kinney, MN toJoseph and Sophie (Dejanovich) Kresoya. She married Howard H. Hibbard on June 12, 1941 in Crown Point, Indiana. Millie graduated from St. Cloud State Teachers College. She was employed as a teacher at Hibbard School District 39 in Sherburne County, Haehnel School District 41 in Benton County and then for the Richmond School District. Millie also worked for Schepers Jewelry Store in St. Cloud. She was a member of Breath Savers group in St. Cloud, former 4H leader, a volunteer for the American Lung Association and a member of First Presbyterian Church, St. Cloud, MN.
Survivors include son and daughters, Howard (Bonnie) Hibbard of Andover, MN; Pat (Pete) Hansen of Good Thunder, MN; and Marne (Gordon) Willey of New Berlin, WI; brother and sister, Leonard “Ben” (Barbara) Kresoya of Edina, MN; and Dorothy Brezinski of Fort Collins, CO; six grandchildren, Heidi Hibbard, Mark (Angie) Hibbard, Holly Hibbard, Leah (Mike) Boulos, Craig Willey, Kara Willey and one great grandson, Peyton Hibbard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on April 8, 1980, sons, Ronald Hibbard, Terry Hibbard and three sisters, Stella Mandarich, Vi Cavalier, and Rose Price.
Memorials are preferred to First Presbyterian Church, Country Manor Chapel, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, or Donors Choice.
