Theresa M. Peterson, age 75, Sauk Rapids, MN died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Good Shepherd Community Nursing Home, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 12:00 (Noon) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids, MN. Rev. Ron Weyrens will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. VFW Auxiliary Post 428 prayer service will be 6:00 PM and Parish prayers will be at 6:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Theresa M. Peterson was born December 12, 1930 in Sauk Rapids, MN to Michael J. and Loretta (Hoffer) Voit. She married Clyde Peterson on June 24, 1962 in Annandale, MN. Theresa was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 428, St. Cloud, MN and was a charter member of VFW Auxiliary Post 6992 of Sauk Rapids, MN. Theresa was a Past 6th District President of VFW Auxiliary in 1965-66 and a Past State President of VFW Auxiliary in 1971-72 and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Survivors include her son, Bernard “Butch” Voit of Mundelein, Ill; brothers and sisters, Betty Jansen of St. Cloud, MN; Mary Ann (Dan) Rozen of Ely, MN; Mike (Betty) Voit of St. Cloud, MN; Patricia (Chuck) Brannan of Waite Park, MN; Ray (Dawn) Voit of Alexandria, MN; ; Kathy (Bruce) Arseneau of Sauk Rapids, MN; six grandchildren, Amy Reed, Matthew Guthrie, Trudy Sprinkle, Shelley Mallory, Todd Harrison, Megan Voit; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1981, daughter and son-in-law, Theresa M. (Voit) and Don Harrison in Feb. 2001, one brother, L. Edward Voit, and one sister, Loretta Voit.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. |
