Marjorie M. Steele, age 79, Sartell, MN died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2006 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Additional funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee, WI. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Waumandee, WI.
Marjorie Steele was born August 12, 1926 in Waumandee, WI to George and Sophie (Schmidt) Sendelbach. She married Erskine “Ed” B. Steele on June 22, 1946 in Waumandee, WI. Marjorie was employed as an X-Ray technician at the Gunderson Clinic in LaCrosse, WI for over 20 years. She attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Sartell, MN. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and long walks down Pine Point Road.
Survivors include her husband, Erskine “Ed” Steele of Sartell, MN; sons, Gary (Sonja) Steele of Ettrick, WI; John (Sue) Steele of St. Charles, IL; and seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly, Gregory, David, Hallie, Nicholas and Amy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Orvan, Lloyd, and Anthony “Tony” Sendelbach.
