     Everett Martin Youngdahl, age 77, Waite Park, MN, formerly of Duluth, MN, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, March 17, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Veterans Administration Medical Center Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the VA Medical Center Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Everett Youngdahl was born April 4, 1928 in Duluth, MN to Axel and Evelyn (Houghtaling) Youngdahl. He married Audrey M. Francis on August 12, 1950 in Duluth, MN. Everett served in the United States Navy for 21 years. After retiring from the Navy he was employed by the State Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN for seven years and then for the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for eight years as chief engineer. Everett was a member of St. Cloud VFW Post #428 and the US Navy Fleet Reserve Association.
     Survivors include his wife, Audrey Youngdahl of Waite Park, MN; son, Bruce (Marsha) Youngdahl of Silverthorne, CO; brother, Donald Youngdahl of Duluth, MN; sisters, Edna Gimberlin of Duluth, MN; Janet Vukelich of Duluth, MN; two grandsons, Jeremy (Rachel) Youngdahl, and Todd (Kristi) Youngdahl; and two great granddaughters, Morgan and Dru Youngdahl.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
     Memorials are preferred.
