            Delores June Olson-Rasmussen, age 98, St. Cloud, MN died Friday, September 1, 2023 at Quiet Oaks Hospice, St. Augusta, MN.

            Funeral services will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

            Delores was born April 29, 1925 in Sauk Rapids Township, Benton County, Minnesota to Melbert and Bertha (David) Folsom. She went to elementary and high school in Sauk Rapids and worked for Northwest Airlines after graduation. Delores married Pierce Olson on April 15, 1945 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids, MN. They lived in Sauk Rapids where she and Pierce owned and operated Sauk Rapids Dairy. Delores and Pierce loved to travel and visited many places around the world including Cuba, Norway and Germany. Pierce died August 27, 1992. 

            On September 17, 1999 Delores married Everett Rasmussen at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Together they traveled to many places around the world including Viet Nam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Austria and Israel. Everett died on November 16, 2021.

            Delores was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful cook and baker, remembered for her fresh baked bread and apple pies. Delores was outgoing and made numerous friends, but most of all cherished her family.

            Survivors include step daughter, Kari Ahles of St. Cloud, MN; step grandson, Cole (Laura) Hedlund; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Pierce and Everett, brothers, Bernard, James, Robert and Kenneth Folsom, sister Audry Palish and step son-in-law, Gary Ahles.
