| Candace Renee Nagel, age 66, of Sauk Rapids passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. A memorial gathering celebrating Candy’s life will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Private burial will be in Pine Tree Cemetery in Lastrup, MN. Candy was born on September 7, 1956 in Little Falls, MN to Anton and Helen (Krych) Przybilla. She was married to Curtis Nagel on December 20, 1975 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids, MN. Candy worked at Stearns Manufacturing until 2011 when she retired due to her health. She enjoyed researching family genealogy, crafting, gardening, camping, and animals, especially Russell and Leo. Candy loved spending time with her family and trips to their cabin. Candy is survived by her husband, Curtis of Sauk Rapids daughters, Koral “Kori” Nagel of Rice and Amber Nagel of St. Joseph; brother, DeWayne (Marjorie) Przybilla of St. Cloud; sisters, Karlene (Alex) Poor of Loveland, CO and Sherri (LeRoy) Henkemeyer of Sartell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Helen Przybilla. |
