     Velda E. Robbins, age 90, Sauk Rapids, MN died Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Velda Robbins was born December 1, 1915 in Regal, MN to Arthur and Stella (Gordon) Glenz. She was a graduate of the Paynesville High School. Velda married James C. Robbins on February 4, 1937 in Paynesville, MN. She was employed as a waitress at JC Penney for 13 years. Velda was a member of Sweet Adelines, and a long time member and Senior Regent of Women of the Moose of Waite Park. Velda enjoyed playing bingo.
     Survivors include sons, Thomas Robbins of Sauk Rapids, MN; Jerry (Marion) Robbins of St. Cloud, MN; Ronald (Sharon) Robbins of Baxter, MN; Robert (Lorna) Robbins of Hector, MN; Daniel (Kay) Robbins of Zimmerman, MN; daughter, Sue Wruck of Sartell, MN; daughter-in-laws, Sandy Robbins of Moline, ILL; Vicki Robbins of Moline, ILL; brother, Gordon Glenz of Paynesville, MN; sisters, Fern Hertzberg of St. Cloud, MN; Betsy Kingsriter of Paynesville, MN; Betty Mauer of St. Cloud, MN; 20 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robbins, on March 24, 1974, sons, James and John, brother, Donald Glenz and two great grandchildren.
     Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
