Betty Jean was born June 26, 1925 to Alex and Jennie (Carlson) Holmblad. She was confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church in Clinton, MN and graduated from Clinton High School with the class of 1943.      After retirement she moved to Perham, MN to be closer to her kids and then moved to Sauk Rapids with her daughter.
Throughout her life Betty Jean enjoyed reading, sewing and cheering for the Twins and Vikings. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR after going to some races with Connie and Loyd.
Betty Jean is survived by daughter, Connie, Sauk Rapids; sisters, Jeanette Wheeler, Arlington, WA; and Carole (Dale) Sittig, Lenexa, KS; and sister-in-law Patricia Holmblad, Sartell, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews.
