Timothy V. “Tim” Wilber, 63
Sauk Rapids
January 8, 1958 – April 27, 2021
Timothy V. “Tim’ Wilber, age 63, of Sauk Rapids, passed away peacefully at his home after a 2 year battle with cancer.
Tim’s wishes were that there will be no service. He will be cremated and his ashes will be taken to Alaska to be scattered by his brothers near where he grew up and loved hunting.
Timothy Vernon Wilber was born on January 8, 1958 in Igloo, South Dakota to Gerald and Lorraine (Hoeft) Wilber. The family later moved to Alaska where Tim lived until becoming a quadriplegic in a shooting accident. Tim will be remember for the fact that everyone he came in contact with had their life changed by him, through either his kindness, his generosity, or his overall sense of humanity. He was also a man who knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his family takes comfort knowing that he is now with his Lord.
Tim is survived by his brothers, Doug (Mary) Wilber of Wasilla, AK, and John (Suzanne) Wilber of Richland, MO; and sister, Lorinda (Shawn) Millim of New Leipzig, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
If anyone would like to honor Tim’s life through a memorial please make a donation to Toys for Tots or the Courage Center.
