Irl M. Tessari-Zawadzki, age 83 of Waite Park, formerly of Inver Grove Hights, MN and Foster City, CA, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Edenbrook of St. Cloud Senior Campus.
A private memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 7, 2021 the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud. While the service is private friends are invited to join via livestream. The instructions and link can be found at the bottom of the obituary page at www.bensonfuneralhome.com. Irl’s urn will be placed in the columbarium at Assumption Cemetery at a later date.
Irl Melania Tessari was born on April 3, 1937 in St. Cloud, MN to Joseph and Beatrice (Kitowski) Tessari. She spent many years as a Director of Religious Education in both Minnesota and California. Irl was united in marriage to Justin Zawadzki on October 23, 2010.
Irl is survived by her husband, Justin Zawadzki of Waite Park; children Kelli Heywood of South St. Paul, Crist (Jean) Bolin of Chisago City, Tracy (Kurt) Daniels of St. Paul, MN, Eric Bolin of Inver Grove Heights, and Ronald Bolin of St. Paul, MN; sisters, Joel (Robert) Hicks, Milbanks, SD and Leslie O’Keefe of Foster City, CA; brother, Richard (Kathy) Tessari of Vancouver, WA, and 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ronald Bolin, and one grandchild, Michelle Lehner.
