     Ervin Edward Orth, age 87, St. Cloud, MN, died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Ervin was born April 11, 1933 in St. Cloud, MN to Chester and Eleanor (Lubbesmeier) Orth. He married Florence J. Maruska on November 7, 1954 in St. Cloud, MN. Ervin was a Merchant Marine on the Great Lakes in his early years and was employed by Cold Spring Granite Company for over 40 years. He greatly enjoyed the company of family, western movies, hockey and trips to Vegas. Ervin was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Florence Orth of St. Cloud, MN; children, Alan (Mary Rohling) Orth of Sauk Rapids, MN; Terrence “Terry” Orth of St. Cloud MN; David Orth of St. Cloud, MN; Kim Orth-Damman of St. Cloud, MN; and Steve (Stefie McNeely) Orth of Eden Prairie, MN; brother, Lloyd (Janelle) Orth of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Bernice Kalusche of St. Cloud, MN; and Doris Pinor of Coon Rapids, MN; eight grandchildren-Carrie (Jay) Galvin, Jill, Ashley (Nic) Molitor , Heather (Jason Clitty), Jesse (Michelle), Seth, Keegan, Gavin and ten great grandchildren-Colton, Savannah, Mariam “Kia”, Annika, Cameron, Taylor, Haley, Bentley, Blake and Brodey.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Richard, Alfred, Walter, and Arthur Orth.
     The family would like to thank Quiet Oaks Hospice House for the comforting farewell prayers, Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud Hospital, Holy Spirit Church, Family and Friend’s for your thoughts and condolence’s.
