Katrina Serenity Stigman, age 28, St. Cloud, MN died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Craig Moore will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Katrina Stigman was born August 5, 1977 in Grand Rapids, MN to Howard and Annie (Ehrlich) Egeland. She married James J. Stigman on August 1, 1998 in St. Cloud, MN.
Throughout her 5-year battle with cancer, Katrina continued to live a life of passion and conviction. Her life-long love for music led to her leadership on the worship team at First Assembly of God. Believing that faith and family are strongly linked, Katrina was a full-time wife and mother, a devotion she shared with others through the Mothers of Preschoolers. Katrina’s innate sense of style and a talent for seeing what others couldn’t naturally segued into an interior design business.
The grace Katrina received from Jesus Christ was one she believed in passing on, through the gift of hospitality, the gift of friendship, the gift of compassion and through an outspoken, unwavering faith.
Survivors include her husband, James Stigman of St. Cloud, MN; son and daughter, Ethan James Stigman and Madeline Kate Stigman of St. Cloud, MN; parents, Howard and Annie Egeland of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Kendra (Kyle) Roehl of St. Cloud, MN; Kristin Egeland of St. Cloud, MN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Allan and Beverly Stigman of Perham, MN; brother-in-law, Sam (Stephanie) Stigman of St. Cloud, MN; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Mike) Bleichner of Perham, MN; Luan (Scott) Larson of Fertile, MN; grandmother; Josephine Egeland of St. Cloud, MN; grandparents-in-law, Don and Mary Ann Simon of Perham, MN; Ann Stigman of Nimrod, MN; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family and friends.
