     Eda I. Hagstrom, age 93, St. Cloud, MN formerly of Minneapolis and Princeton, MN died Friday, September 23, 2005 at St. Benedict’s Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Atonement Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 2:45 PM at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
     Eda Hagstrom was born September 4, 1912 in Gladstone, MN to Swedish immigrants, Eric “Axel” and Sara (Carlberg) Swenson. The family moved to Hugo, MN when Eda was nine months old and remained there until she was 13. In 1925, her family moved to St. Paul. She married Arthur T. Hagstrom on October 28, 1935 in Stillwater, MN. After several moves, they settled at 625 5th St. NE in Minneapolis where they lived for 35 years. Eda worked at Eklund’s clothing store on East Hennepin Avenue for 20 years. After she retired, she and Art moved to Princeton, MN. When Art died in 1989, Eda moved to St. Cloud. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.
     Survivors include sons and daughter, Gary (Jane) Hagstrom of Minneapolis, MN; Kenneth (Louise) Hagstrom of Berwyn, PA; Darrel Hagstrom of Kansas City, MO; Janet (Gary) Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur, in January 1989; infant daughter, Denise; brothers and sisters, Augusta, Julia, Reuben, Willard, Gotfred, Luella, Florence, Helen, Irene and Leroy.
