     Dora E. Bardson, age 99, Waite Park, MN died Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at Sterling Park Care Center, Waite Park, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, February 6, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. John Praetorius will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2004 from 4 to 7 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Dora Bardson was born November 13, 1904 in Paynesville Township, MN to William and Louise (Donath) Albrecht. She married Harold C. Bardson on March 4, 1926 in Paynesville, MN. Dora farmed with her husband, west of Waite Park. She moved into Waite Park in 1984. Dora was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was active in United Methodist Woman, church choir and served as a Sunday School teacher and also as Sunday School Superintendent. Dora was also a life time member of St. Cloud VFW Post # 428 Auxiliary.
     Dora is survived by sons and daughters, Jerome (Yvonne) Bardson of Albany, MN; Cyril Bardson of Texas; JoAnn (Marvin) Kumpula of Waite Park, MN; Dorothy “Dottie” Bardson of Tool, TX; sister, Alvina Scheierl of Paynesville, MN; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold, on August 7, 1982, sons, Charles and Clayton, two sisters and four brothers.
     Pallbearers will be Don Lorenz, Joe Pelzer, Earl Mathews, Frank Warner, George Record and Don Schmitt.
     Memorials are preferred to the Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund.
