Margaret F. Hoeschen, age 97, Sauk Rapids, MN, formerly of Collegeville and Watkins, MN, died Thursday, August 25, 2005 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN
Service of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 29, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Watkins, MN.
Margaret Hoeschen was born July 30, 1908 in Collegeville, MN to Nicholas and Clara (Fruth) Zwilling. She married Alphonse B. Hoeschen on June 9, 1931 at the Church of St. John the Baptist, Collegeville, MN. Margaret was employed as a kitchen cook and helper at many area nursing homes. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Watkins, MN. Margaret enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and playing cards and bingo.
Survivors include son, David (Barb) Hoeschen of St. Cloud, MN; daughter, Linda (Jack) Dobson of Sun Prairie, WI; sisters, Helen Middendorf of Freeport, MN; Therese Lambert of Avon, MN; Sr. Marie Zwilling OSB of St. Cloud, MN; two grandchildren, Brad (Andrea) Hoeschen of Milwaukee, WI and Tad (Stacie) Hoeschen of Sauk Rapids, MN; and five great grandchildren, Isaac, Max, David, Jacob and Joseph Hoeschen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alphonse; brothers, John Mathew, Al, Joseph and Celestine Zwilling and sisters, Sr. Berchmans (Elizabeth) Zwilling OSB, and Johanna Frances Steichen.
Memorials are preferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN or St. Anthony Catholic Church, Watkins, MN
